Golfers get the best value this week with Local’s Day at Stoney Creek. Play 18 holes after 3 pm for $50 or 9 holes for $39. Both options include a cart. You must book a tee time in advance by calling 434-325-8250. Tee times can be made up to ten days ahead.
The recent rain has left the turf and greens at Stoney Creek and Devils Knob in excellent condition. The courses are lush and ready for play. Wintergreen Resort offers the Stoney Creek Fore-Pack for $309. This package includes four 18-hole rounds with a cart. The rounds are transferable and valid anytime through the end of the 2026 golf season. The offer is available through June 15, 2026.
Die-hard golfers can book the Unlimited Golf Lodging Package. This option includes a two-night stay and unlimited golf with carts on both Devils Knob and Stoney Creek. Guests also receive the Wintergreen Advantage perks. These include access to Devils Grill, the aquatics and fitness center, and the ability to reserve court time at racquet sport facilities. Summer recreation opens this week. The Stoney Creek Pool opens daily at 10 am. The Plunge Summer Tubing begins operations Friday through Sunday from 10:30 am to 4 pm. Lake Monocan opens Saturday and Sunday from 11 am. Discovery Ridge Adventure Center opens Friday through Sunday from 10 am to 5 pm. Camp Wintergreen does not open until June 15.
The Nature Foundation is open Tuesday through Saturday. Hours are 9 am to 4:30 pm on weekdays and Saturdays. The shop is closed on Thursdays after 12 pm and on Sundays.
Dining options are limited this week. Upper Crust, Copper Mine, and The Market Deli are closed Monday through Wednesday. The Edge is closed Monday through Wednesday. Devils Grill is closed Monday and Tuesday. Iron & Ale is closed Monday. The Terrace Café is open daily from 7 am to 3 pm. The Market Deli is open Thursday through Sunday. Devils Grill opens Wednesday through Sunday. Iron & Ale opens Tuesday through Sunday.
The Blue Ridge Boutique and Outdoor Elements are open daily. Hours are 10 am to 5 pm on weekdays and Sundays. Hours extend to 6 pm on Friday and Saturday. The Spa Store is open daily. Hours are 7 am to 7 pm on weekdays and Sundays. Hours extend to 8 pm on Friday and Saturday.
The Stoney Creek and Devils Knob Golf Shops are open daily. Stoney Creek opens at 7:30 am. Devils Knob opens at 8 am. Both close at 5 pm. The Devils Knob Tennis Shop is open daily. Hours are 8 am to 7 pm on weekdays. Hours extend to 8 pm on Friday and Saturday. The shop opens at 9 am on Sunday and closes at 5 pm.
The Racquet Sports facility at Devils Knob is open daily. Hours are 8 am to 7 pm on weekdays. Hours extend to 8 pm on Friday and Saturday. The facility closes at 6 pm on Sunday. Tennis at Stoney Creek follows the same schedule. The aquatics and fitness center is open daily. Hours are 7 am to 7 pm on weekdays and Sundays. Hours extend to 8 pm on Friday and Saturday.
Water aerobics and yoga are available Tuesday and Thursday at 11 am. The on-demand shuttle service runs Thursday from 8 am to 10 pm. Guests must call the Mountain Inn front desk at 434-325-2200 to request transportation.
The Stoney Creek Racquet Sports Open House is scheduled for Sunday, June 7. The event features clinics and games for all levels. Guests can enjoy Blue Ridge views before heading to Iron & Ale for happy hour. The venue will show the French Open Finals.
